Hi!

I have a bit of an odd question for anyone who has received their Ariya already and has the overhead parking view feature (I forget if this was available on all trims or just some). Does it work if you have the mirrors in? When I went to my ride and drive event, I only thought to ask after we finished the driving portion so I couldn’t check myself, and the reps weren’t sure. Since some of the cameras it uses are on the mirrors, their guess was it would work, but the view might be distorted.

I ask because while waiting on the endless delays, I moved into a new condo with a super tight driveway (only 8” clearance if specs are accurate), which is going to make any kind of crossover SUV hard to park, but I’ve been mostly interested in something of that size since we also had a baby and traveling with her requires rather a lot of stuff!

Thanks for any info!

Only Evolve+ and above I believe have the overhead view if I am not mistaken. Intelligent all-around monitor seems to be the name for it.

One big advantage that Tesla does not have…
Which is why I drive a Mach-E and BMW i4 :)

Oh, my new Grand Cherokee also has a 360 camera too. I consider it a requirement for any new car these days. I thought I would love the digital rear view mirror (Platinum+ trim has one) but I hate it on my GC.

The mirrors need to be deployed to get the full 360deg view. The can be stowed, but you get a distorted view.
Yeah, it's disappointing that this feature won't help with my particular scenario, but probably won't be the thing that makes the difference between whether or not I ultimately accept delivery. Thanks!
