Well, it sure LOOKS like it's a top-quality red ... maybe the same as Infinity's Dynamic Sunstone Red Tricoat. Thanks for the video! I was awaiting SOME close-up videos of the (ONLY) color combo offered in my pre-ordered Platinum+, and this provides me just what I wanted ... and I suspect I may not see this color combination in person until my Platinum+ shows up at my dealer.

Wow, that Passion Red is stunning, especially with the Charcoal interior contrast! Had it been offered in the Premiere trim for reservationists I would have chosen it over my Aurora Green. But $995 for the ("Super Premium Paint") add-on is a bit slappy, IMO.

I got to test drive an Ariya today. The salesperson asked who model I had ordered (the Evolve+) which they didn't have available for test drive. He showed me one similar in features which ended up being the red one. The pictures of the red does not do it justice and you really need to see it in person. Thought about going for this car but decided to stay with my color. This car is available at a dealer near Sacramento. Message me if you want info on the dealer.

I asked the salesperson if there's any time limit on the test drive. He said no, bring it back whenever you like. Car drives beautifully. On-ramps to highway was a breeze and honestly felt it had similar power to a Tesla. Our other car is a Tesla model 3 so first hand comparison. What I didn't like, no one pedal driving (e-pedal), crazy how the door armrest is a different height from the center console and the UI on the GPS was a little difficult to navigate. The dealer was ready to make a deal. I wasn't but will be thinking about my test drive and decided within the next week. I have a reservation which they will honor at MSRP and the discount to old MSRP pricing. Such a total 180 after visiting a dealership in the bay area that would not turn on the car let alone allow a test drive. These guys at the dealership was attentive, helpful and forthcoming with the purchase process. Was offer a lease that they have a $5000 rebate on or a 2.59% on a 36 month financing.
