PHANTOM RAIN SENSING WINDSHIELD WIPER OPERATION?

Anyone else experience random windshield wiper operation? Our Evolve + trim continues to randomly swipe a single pass about 50% of the time after the car has been parked for at least a couple of hours and about a mile after we’re under way the wipers decide they need to take a single swipe. This has been going on for a few weeks now and we haven’t seen a drop of rain in out region for at least three weeks now. Any thoughts?

Mine swiped by itself once after I started driving in the morning - Could be some overnight dew on the sensor parking outside. So I've been keeping it off, and turn it on auto only when it's raining or cleaning the windshield.
Your windshield clean? The sensor in front and below the rear view mirror may be seeing something on the window.

My windshield usually has some dust and some overnight dew/water because of outdoor parking and water sprinklers. I don't keep my wiper on auto all the time.
Mine has gone off if driving by a broken sprinkler that sprays on window also if car nearby has wiper/spray on and some mist drifts toward my windshield, other than that no issues.
