Placed official Pre Order for Ariya in Canada/QC (1000$ deposit)

Hi,

Canadian from Quebec.

About 3 weeks ago, I placed a deposit (500$) through a local dealer and at that time, the rep didn't have much info about specifications.

But yesterday, the dealership called to have me come in to officialize a reservation but Nissan Canada is requesting 1000$. The rep/director had all the specifications on hand except for the pricing (to come in February). Director told me he couldn't even print me the specs he had on-hands. Weird that Nissan is asking for deposit but not publicizing the specs for each trim.

I was 8th at the dealership to have made a reservation. Many bailed out.

I received an official email from Nissan Canada saying they have received the order and will notify me with an order no. once production starts for the vehicle.

Opted for Evolve+ in Blue. Thought the interior would be Gray like in the US but director told me he only has code for Black/Charcoal.

Hi mtlmonk,

Canadian from BC here. I've attached the spec's that my dealer emailed me.

Like you I opted for the Evolve+ . Not sure why they are offering the Venture+ in Canada which doesn't have heated seats or heated steering wheel.

Fingers crossed that we both can get our Federal and Provincial rebates.

The way the program is setup, we're not eligible but there is currently talks to increase the maximum price eligibility to reflect the market interest in electrical SUV and what's currently being offered or will be

Crossing fingers...but we have room to play until Fall.

I"m in Ontario, two local dealers I contacted regarding an Ariya deposit have not replied yet. Nissan Canada website says reservations to open in January. Some questions for you:
1. what are the colour choices for the trim levels ?
2. Where any terms/conditions provided when you made your deposit ? What are the rules for refundability ?

For colors by trim, look at the attachment DJP posted

In QC, deposit is fully refundable.

Nissan Canada officially opening reservation from their website tomorrow. Somehow was able to do it 2 weeks ago from the dealership.

It appears the Canadian pricing has been posted.
Interestingly, the Premiere trim is priced slightly higher than the Platinum+ e-4orce!
And with current USD to CAN conversion rates, all trims are priced lower than in the USA.
Madness.
