Premier different than window sticker

I picked up my Northern Lights Premier on Monday, and seemed to know more than the sales folks there about the car, as has been encountered on these forums. I wanted to add on some things and roll them all in to the price, but they told me they couldn’t do that as they had to sell it at MSRP, although they certainly tried to get me to buy all the extended warranties which for some reason they could roll in to the price… Oh well. Honestly the sales team got really cold a couple of weeks ago after they found out they couldn’t do their usual mark up of $15,000. Seriously. They did seem to treat me a little better after they saw my credit score, but overall they were not very helpful in some aspects. I still can’t get the Nissan Connect app to work.

The window sticker says that the car has illuminated kick plates—it does not. It doesn’t say anything about fog light, yet the car does have fog lights. There is no emblem that says “premier,” just the “Ariya” on the back. I’m still trying to figure out the Pro Pilot to see if it was actually installed—the thought ran across my mind that maybe it isn’t a Premier they delivered?

This is our fourth EV, so we’re not newbies. Overall I like the car, I’m just a confused about the discrepancies. Anyone else have this occur? TY in advance.

Those are odd discrepancies, but the Northern Lights color is currently only available on the Premiere trim so that is probably what was delivered. You should be able to use a VIN lookup tool to double-check if you are worried. The illuminated kick plates and badge are added in port, so it sounds like those may have just been missed. If your dealer is not much help, then you could reach out to Nissan through the phone number in the reservation portal and they will hopefully make arrangements to ship the parts to a dealer and have them installed.
Another feature you can look for to verify that you have ProPilot 2.0 is the ProPilot Park icon and button on the center console above the drawer open/close buttons. I believe that is only included in vehicles with ProPilot 2.0.

Wow that is weird that the kick plates were not already there. I thought on some of the earlier Premiere window stickers I've seen posted on the forum that the kick plates were listed under the standard equipment, not as a port/factory addition? For the Evolve trim level they were adding them in along with floor mats. It's true that the Northern lights color was only available with the Premiere trim for pre-order, but now it is available on Evolve and Empower trim, according to a recent Nissan Ariya brochure.
I haven’t yet had time to contact Nissan, I do have the Pro Pilot park and button on the wheel, but I can’t seem to get them to work, I’m going to keep trying. I’ll let everyone know what they say about the kick plates when I finally get a chance to talk to someone!

There are videos here that may help. They explain how to use most of the features.

Well, it does look like I do have a Premier, sans kickplates—the dealer said that none of the cars so far delivered have had them, but they will get them ordered and installed, so yay! So far I really like the car, I was finally able to get the parking assist to park—not much straighter than I can do myself, but it was interesting. Now I’m trying to get wind/rain guards and mud flaps, and considering getting the Virtual Key. I feel like I should get them now while they are on sale
That's interesting. I didn't ask for illuminated kick plates, but the sticker for my car says it will have them (for about $450 extra). I haven't received the car yet, but have seen the sticker (long story). I'm not sure I want to pay that for that feature, and I didn't see anything about that being an add-on when reserving the car. Is this something added on by the dealer that can therefore be refused? Or, is it something that add on at the port, before it gets to the dealer (as suggested above) and there is nothing to do (except refuse to accept it, or the car)? Thanks. Just a bit confused on how these things work. (Evolve+ BTW)

All (or very nearly so) got them. I wouldn't have chosen them personally, but they're pretty nice and have gotten compliments.

The port vehicle prep ads these features, which has been typical of cars imported at the ports. In the past you could haggle most of the cost away, but these days not really. I noticed that mainly the Venture and Premiere don't get add ons as much as the other models do. So my Premiere only got floor mats, which I needed anyway.
My premiere got those kick plates and floor mats, just like the window sticker listing... When they handed me the car, they peeled off the stickers labeled LH on driver's side, but still left the RH stickers. I just didn't bother to take them off :)
Side note: Don't know if any of you notice, there is a sakura trail in the pocket where the front USB ports located. I saw another sakura trail, but forgot where. I read/watched videos mentioned hidden features

Can you tell me what a sakura trail is? I’m confused and intrigued

The dealer did finally get the illuminated kick plates installed, they look very nice. I didn’t order them, but as the car was supposed to come with them, I wanted to make sure I got my money’s worth

Sakura are cherry blossoms. I noticed in some Ariya photos there are some cherry blossom motifs hidden here and there in the trim. Looking forward to finding them when I take delivery! Glad you were able to get those kick plates installed -- it's true they are kind of a silly extra, but they were included for the Premiere
