Pronunciation preferences

I watched a video (not a good one) this morning where the narrator pronounced "Ariya" as A-REE-ya. As a retired physician, I thought that sounded too much like urea, the nitrogen component in urine. I had always thought the pronunciation should be AR-re-a. Which pronunciation do you think is correct and (a second question) which will you use if you buy one and describe it to your friends? Now that we have >150 members of this forum, we should get a good statistical value.
