ProPilot 2 veering left?

Hi all, just went on my first highway roadtrip (in the US) with the Ariya. Really enjoyed the ProPilot 2 hands-off driving experience. I was traveling in the left lane of a 2-lane highway most of the time, and ProPilot 2 was almost hugging the left line, the lane divider. I noticed cars passing me would often veer left around me, and just by looking down through the driver’s window I could see that it was closer to the left line than the middle of the lane. Everything else was great, the car stayed in the lane despite curves and wind, it was just a bit further left than I’d drive. Any other experiences?

I noticed a bit of right-veering behavior in the (left) passing lane whilst in PP2.0 mode yesterday on the Interstate. I little nerve-racking but still safely within the lane. Not sure if a defect or if my driving behavior prefers a larger space buffer.

Yeah exactly, makes me wonder if it’s somehow safer to do drive closer to a lane edge, or whether it’s my own bias leading me to be uncomfortable. Would love to hear more experiences.

I do not have my Ariya yet, but just with regular driving in an ID.4 it will jiggle the steering wheel if it thinks you are straying out of your lane, and sometimes this voice even comes on and says "please drive in the center of the lane" 😆
I also thought it was closer to the left of the lane than the center. I thought maybe it was because the car is wider than my other car and it just appeared this way, but it seems cars passing in the left move over to their left. It does make it easier when passing large trucks though. I also seemed to think it moves over slightly away from when cars are passing on the side.
Same here, car seems to hug the center line. I think I generally drive hugging the other side, so it feels different
Not a problem for me, I’ll just drive in the far left lane, and never move. Seems everyone here drive at the speed limit in the far left lane 🙄

Yep. Same here. Middle lane is for going slow, left lane for moving at the speed limit, and right lane for passing everyone else.
