A few days but my salesman gave me the Nissan contact phone number and I asked for the refund. Nissan said they had to get the dealer info updated, but I guess they took care of it as I saw it processing on the card in a few days.

Dealer claims "within 3-4 weeks" - which seems overly conservative. But consistent with Nissan's never ending fumbles with the Ariya launch process . . .
Took me about 3 weeks. I was just starting to worry. I was told it could take as long as a month. For those who weren't able to get the reservation deposit ($500 USA) deducted from the purchase price at the dealership, and elected to have the amount credited back to a charge card, how much time transpired before seeing the credit show up on the charge card account? Mine had a little technicality. I get what you mean, as cancelling might cause you to be removed from some list. You could wait until you get the EVgo deal first.HotAirMN - clever tactic, which we also considered but were concerned it might FUBAR the free EVGo authorization. Which has potential of being worth well in excess of $500. "Risk reduction" ploy?
The EVGo registration showed up about 48 hrs later in my email from my credit card company. No impact to my purchase at all,I get what you mean, as cancelling might cause you to be removed from some list. You could wait until you get the EVgo deal first.
What Ariya trim have you purchased?Glad to report that 5 business days after the dealer "linked our purchase with our reservation" we received the $500 credit back to our charge card. It was more than annoying that 9 days passed from date of purchase until the dealer performed the linkage. We repeatedly got the worn-out and tired "it's up to the manager" excuse from the salesperson, when pushing for refund updates. One day [in Nirvana] car dealerships, as they currently function, will be a thing of the past. The guilty party: Mossy Nissan of San Diego (Kearny Mesa).
By canceling, Did you lose any of the perks that came with being a reservation holder? In my case dealer wasn’t sure how to handle the $500 deposit refund, I said I can just cancel the reservation on the Nissan portal. They said, go for it. So after we finished the paperwork I cancelled my reservation using the portal. That was Thursday last week, the $500 hit my credit card Sunday night, 3 days later.
Ok! I wish everyone on this forum has their Ariya trim posted on their avatar. Hello Administrator!Hank - re: our trim - take a look at my avatar, I followed your lead!![]()
No perks lost. It was the sale and the dealer that triggers those, not the initial reservation. Got EVGo, MyNissan, etc. just fine.By canceling, Did you lose any of the perks that came with being a reservation holder?
