Do others see this in the instrument cluster every time you get going?

Does it bug you?

No one is in the back, so the seatbelts are undone, but no one is in the seat, and the rear doors have not been opened .
I thought it might be a glitch that would reset itself after a while, but now it has been over a week. It has constantly been this way.
For a while I kept the rear seats buckled so I didn't have to see the message, but I'd rather leave them unbuckled.

I noticed the alert on two YouTube videos, so seems it is normal.
It never alerts while driving, just at start-up.
Maybe it is not worth the cost for the sensors, so Nissan just warns me all the time.
But thought I would double check what others see, and see if anyone else gets nervous seeing alerts.

It's annoying, yeah. When I first encountered it I thought my tailgate was open. However, I've conditioned myself to ignore it by now.
As I see it, we're all beta testers in this first run. There's gonna be some quirks to adapt to, no doubt.

I have been looking in the manual for a way to remove it as it is ANNOYING. If anyone finds a solution please post. I get why Nissan defaulted to it, but I appreciate there are so many things you can customize on this vehicle that hopefully there is a way to "delete" (or at least untoggle it). There will rarely be people in my back seat, so I don't need to see this every time I start driving.

I haven't found a way to disengage it, however, if you press OK (left side of the steering wheel), it goes away.

If my kind serves me correctly, it’s designed that way as a psychological thing to make you check the back seat to make sure everyone is buckled in. Even if there is no one back there. Kind of an extension of the “don’t leave your kid in the car” warning. My friend got a pathfinder a few months ago and she said it does the same thing.

It didn't do it initially for me, but started on Saturday and has done it ever since. The only thing that has changed that I can think of is we went out in the car with the kids on Friday night. Before that, there hadn't ever been anyone in the backseat when the car was on. The warning/reminder goes away pretty quickly, so not really a big deal. It's just odd.
