Setting 'Home' Location on Weather Alerts

2023 Evolve+ owner for about 4 months now. As it is becoming storm season here in SW Florida, I keep getting weather alerts in my Ariya ie: 'a storm is detected 31 miles from your current location', etc. The location is off by about 150 miles or so, with the alerts always being in the Miami/Ft Lauderdale area as if that's where I am.

I've tried finding a setting to tell it where I am, but the best I can do is choose a favorite city for my weather forecast. It doesn't seem to change the alerts. I do like having select alerts for severe weather, but it doesn't do me any good if it thinks my car is on the other side of the Florida peninsula. Have also tried switching the alerts from TomTom to XM and back but doesn't seem to change it. The weather alert system stubbornly thinks I'm in Ft Lauderdale. It is not something I ever set and seems to be baked in deep to the electronics system.

Anybody know how to change this?

Thank you.

Alerts could be generating via SiriusXM Radio is my WAG. Sirius and Nissan have partnered up for this type stuff, apparently.

Maybe. Still begs the question why it thinks I'm 160 miles from where I am. I wonder if that was the port of entry for the car and it got tethered to ft Lauderdale that way? Mystery.

I should have said more. Check to see the address on your Sirius account. I just checked mine. It is correct. Contact them to see if they are generating the data. You should have an account set up with them by your or your dealer. I thinks mine was set up on delivery. That's all I got. I'm sure someone will chime in if I am off base.

Gotcha. I transferred my account from my old car but I am still in the free period. I bet it's got something to do with that. I didn't think about the Sirius XM factor. Will look online and call them to see if they can sync the radio with my address.

Thank you!
