Spare wheel for the Ariya from EZ spare

Based on previous reports of a spare tire fitting in the bottom compartment of the trunk (if you remove the styrofoam), I bought a spare wheel kit from EZ Spare . This is a full size spare wheel, and as you can see in the picture it does fit completely beneath the luggage floor even in its lower position. There is a bit of room beneath the tire for some tools, and enough room on top in the center to fit the L1/L2 charger that comes with the car. This won't work on the Platinum trim, though, since that model uses the space for a subwoofer.

Very neat and tidy. I expect it won't work for any AWD models?

Definitely not the Platinum+ since that has a subwoofer in that space. I have heard there is less underfloor space in the other AWD trims due to the rear motor, but I have never seen one.

Can you show us how you secure the wheel? Also what type of jack did you get and where did you store the jack.
There is a metal fitting in the center you can use to bolt down the spare wheel. The one I bought fit perfectly in the space, however, so I didn't bother bolting it down. It doesn't move or rattle, as far as I can tell. The jack I got was https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08TBWMZZW but I think there are many options out there that would work. It doesn't fit under the floor with the tire, unfortunately.
The link you gave shows 20" wheel. The FWD Ariya has 19" wheel. Will there be a problem?
No: note that they give the outside tire dimensions, and those are almost the same as for the stock 19" wheel.
There is also an excellent video on their web site that explains why their wheel size is typically different from the stock OEM wheels. As Astros notes, best to check to see that the outside diameters of the wheel plus tire are within max 5 per cent.

Dealer told me putting aftermarket spare could mess with brake calipers and cause problems. To much of a gamble. I just bought full size tire for replacement if needed.,placed in spare area. The other reason I bought tire from Nissan was they dont keep in stock, also tire dealers told me they would also have to order. By having exact tire ,even if I have to get towed No Big Deal, I have had 2 flats in last 50 years. The other bad news Nissan sold rim for tire $900 that is why I carry tire only.

I can tell you from the spec sheet that the fwd models only have enough space bc there's no 2nd motor taking up cargo space...
