I plan to leave my Ariya at my vacation place for an extended period, say 6 months. I was told to leave the car charged to 50-80% and disconnect the negative terminal from the 12V battery.
My two questions:
1. Is it necessary to disconnect the 12V battery?
2. The negative terminal looks different from other battery terminals I have seen in the other cars. The terminal nut is vertical instead of horizontal.
Any idea how to disconnect the cable from the battery terminal? Any other care I should take for long-term storage?
