It's hard to say how long it will take because we don't know what production will be like and how many will or will not opt out of their orders for something else.
I got a message from my friend in Japan who reserved B9 limited which is our AWD. They got an email finally moving to customization period (in Japan, when you buy car all customer has to go though this period). Nissan was planning to deliver B9 in this summer but they pushed to after Winter for their 3 models. My friend is so happy lol Also I found a japanese article said nissan does not officially say but they will probably ship around or less than 10,000 to USA!

I live in Virginia and, according to our local dealer, we should receive our Ariya in a couple of months. From reading the prior posts, my understanding is that the $7500 incentive is good at least though 31 Dec 2022. Do you concur? I appreciate the information about MSRP and will check on that.

in New Jersey they have an EV rebate program which is used in 2021 to buy my 2020 Leaf. Got back $5K.

I have a reservation for an Ariya and I just logged on the the rebate site and asked if the Ariya qualified for the $5000 - THEY SAID NO! AND CAN'T GUARANTEE IT WOULD BE RETROACTIVE! - SEE BELOW AND ANY ADVICE ......

Dear Paul,

Thank you for your email. The Nissan Aryia is not yet an approved vehicle on our eligibility list. OEMs and vehicle manufacturers must apply to the NJ BPU and go through a screening process to be added. This is a process that Charge Up New Jersey has no hand in, and we are unable to expedite the process.

Please be advised, we cannot say with 100% certainty at this time whether the retroactive order, purchase, or lease of a vehicle prior to re-launch will still be eligible. In previous programs, such a circumstance was not eligible for incentive. Details, such as program eligibility, have not been finalized.

Sincerely,

The way Nissan EV sales in US are going, the full $7,500 federal credit is likely to last through end of 2023. There are ~30,000 slots left before hitting the 200,000 target. USA current pre-orders for ARIYA are estimated at total of only 10,000. Leaf sales are around 1,000 per month. The math is looking good so far.

Did a little modeling. Here's my SWAG:

Last reservation number when US bank closed: 39774
Expected US orders: 9,924
WAG cancellation rate: 5%
Orders to fill: 9,428

Platinum AWD: 37%
Venture: 12%
Evolve 25%
Premiere 26%

We know AWD is late availability. Is the premiere going to be affected by chip shortages?

If you paid under $7500 Federal Tax before this would zero you out now no tax rebate... In USA they keep saying electric, electric, rlectric now they lie to us.

As of August 8th dealer says no info released yet, when they receive shipping date to track that is when people will be notified.. Anyone given a date is all guess work until dealer can track..

I've added my order to the list. The choice of trims is US so I selected the one that I think is closest to my UK order. I've ordered the Advance trim so I selected "Venture+". I think that's correct.

If I had my time over again I would've ordered the Evolve trim, but it was a full £10,000 more at the time of pre-orders because it only came with the bigger battery. Since official launch you can get Evolve with the smaller battery and that to me looks like the sweet spot in terms of price and feature set.

Having said that, Nissan UK have put the price of all the versions up twice since I placed my order so that combined with a dealer discount means I'm happy with my Advance trim order and can't wait to receive it. The mood music is suggesting I'll get it before Christmas, but I'll just patiently wait my turn and hope for the best.

I do not believe that's correct. I'm not a tax advisor, but I encourage you to ask your tax advisor about carry-over tax credits and see if perhaps he doesn't have something for you.

I updated my reservation to an Evolve+ for now, but I may go higher later. The trouble is the Platinum+ doesn't have any colors of interest right now (red said "Sold Out" when I tried to change to that and Blue isn't listed on the Platinum+ ...seriously?).

I've added my order to the list... I ordered the Premiere in the coppery color, charcoal interior. I really would have liked a lighter interior color, like maybe even a beige color, but the charcoal interior was the only thing available with the copper exterior. Oh, well.
