I am trying to source a frame mounted trailer hitch with a 2 inch receiver to mount a Kuat bike rack. (The Nissan product is Class 1)

No intent to tow... anyone have any advice or experience?

Not yet... Several of us are waiting for aftermarket options. No doubt they'll come in time. I check etrailer every now and then.

I received this email from a company called Torklift. They made an aftermarket hitch for the Leaf with a 2inch receiver, and it was excellent.

They are located near Seattle, a bit too far for me:

"Hello Ian!

Thank you for letting us help you today. While we do not have an EcoHitch available for your 2023 Ariya yet our research and development facility is located in western Washington just south of Seattle. We have been looking for a vehicle to design and develop our EcoHitch from. Is that something you would be interested in doing?

Thank you and have a wonderful day!

"Hello Ian!

That is perfectly understandable. Your information is in our system so we can get in touch as soon as it is ready. I don't know if it entices you at all, but if we use your vehicle for development the EcoHitch is free."

If you are the first one there, they will use your vehicle to pattern the product and you will receive a FREE hitch. Maybe someone in the area would be interested? It might get a product to market much quicker.

I also required if a "Premium" product would be possible using non-rusting steel (Stainless?).
