Seems unlikely that NTFS or exFAT would be supported. Did you try FAT32?
FAT32 works for me. Try that instead. Are there any limitations or particular brands of USB sticks/drives that Nissan understands?
I tried few usb-c flash drives 64gb +
with NTFS and ex-Fat formatting. None of those worked. WTF?
My 2016 Durango works with anything via USB including 8Tb HDDs....
So this is a really strange to see not working USB drives in 2023 car....
Can you teach me how do you format 64GB flash drive to Fat32 😂😂😂FAT32 works for me. Try that instead.
So basically what you are saying is that no usb devices with more than 32Gb onboard are supported in 2023 car? I don't even know should I laugh or cry here...Bad fail by nissanSeems unlikely that NTFS or exFAT would be supported. Did you try FAT32?
I use a 32gb NTFS formatted USB A drive on port USB2... no issues with reading it. Perhaps the USB C and USB A ports have different limitations? So basically what you are saying is that no usb devices with more than 32Gb onboard are supported in 2023 car? While Windows can't format volumes larger than 32G as FAT32 natively, there are third party tools that can do it (as can Linux).Ok. Went out and tested out a lot of different setups.
BAD NEWS for all of us guys. ONLY FAT32 USB Devices (USB-C & USB-A 32Gb of less) Work with our beautiful 2023 year built $50K+ EV auto
p.s. Have a wireless carplay and no support for any storage above 32GB 😂😂 speechless...
If you think that’s bad, those poor Tesla owners can’t use the best selling smartphones (Androids and iPhones) in their Teslas. 😂😆Ok. Went out and tested out a lot of different setups.

Great minds think alikeWhile Windows can't format volumes larger than 32G as FAT32 natively, there are third party tools that can do it (as can Linux).
This help page references one of those tools: Formatting 64GB USB Drive to FAT32
Also, many larger USB drives come formatted FAT32 out of the box regardless of size.
Can't Argue that 😂😂If you think that’s bad, those poor Tesla owners can’t use the best selling smartphones (Androids and iPhones) in their Teslas. 😂😆
I think Nissan did great in this case.
interesting. Though I can’t use usb a as a permanent solution cause it’s occupied by my second charger 😀I'm using a SanDisk 128 GB with the default format, so I don't know what it is formatted to, but no issues for the USB A port.

Not sure what your other end is for your charger, but you can buy USB-C to USB-Micro cables on Jeff Bezoz's Chinesium Emporium.interesting. Though I can’t use usb a as a permanent solution cause it’s occupied by my second charger 😀 View attachment 2048

You might want to clarify this... sounds like a number of people, myself included, are using NTFS and greater than 32GB USB without issue, at least on the USB-A interface. It may be a USB-C interface issue, but seems odd, assuming we're all using the same version of NissanConnect. Are there any limitations or particular brands of USB sticks/drives that Nissan understands?

Update:
Problem: ONLY FAT32 USB Devices (USB-C & USB-A 32Gb of less) Work in Ariya by default
Workaround: Download Rufus Portable Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way - in boot selection set "non-bootable" and in file System set FAT32. Click start and now you have you usb storage larger that 32GB formatted to FAT32.
Tested on 64gb & 512gb USB-A and USB-C flash drives
Agree. Btw did you check that you have NTFS on yours? You might want to clarify this... sounds like a number of people, myself included, are using NTFS and greater than 32GB USB without issue, at least on the USB-A interface. Yup, NTFS formatted 32GB PNY USB3 flash. Pretty sure I hadn't used Rufus to format this particular drive since it was just a portable one I used for transferring music/movies and not one I needed to make bootable.Agree. Btw did you check that you have NTFS on yours?
