I didn't know the 12 v battery was in the back. Interesting! Makes it a bit easier to rig up an inverter for 110V power.I have seen no mentions of it when I have been chatting to Nissan representatives at preview sessions, but I did make a point of stating that it is a major sales loss with in there accessory range (all that should be needed is a recording module with feeds from the cameras). one plus you get easy access to the 12v battery with it being in the rear boot area so you can power it easily (The dashcams I use has a battery saving facility so it will not flatten the battery)
A very good idea!It would really be a good idea for Nissan to make use of Ariya's cameras to record video like the Tesla Cam. I would hate to clutter that beautiful interior with an add-on dashcam.
This is only on right hand drive cars, as far as I understand.I didn't know the 12 v battery was in the back. Interesting! Makes it a bit easier to rig up an inverter for 110V power.
Yes, Tesla got that one right. I've been thinking about a dash cam, but I don't care for the clunky kind that stick on the windshieldA very good idea!
Same here. This is one thing Tesla did that I wish Nissan copied.Yes, Tesla got that one right. I've been thinking about a dash cam, but I don't care for the clunky kind that stick on the windshield
