Hi guys , for some reason wireless phone charger won’t charge my iPhone 14 pro. It’s starting to charge but then just stops in few minutes. At the same time my daughters iPhone 13 with the same case is charging perfectly. Any ideas where to look for solution?

just checked, reset the phone.
charging around 40 seconds. orange icon starts blinking - charging stops.
took of the case - same story
took my wifes iphone 14 pro - same story stopping in around 40 seconds..

Any other ideas? Maybe someone with 14 pro can try it out out their car?

I’m sorry to hear that. Mine is a 14 pro but unfortunately I don’t have my Aryia yet E4orce on order

I have had problems with my 14 not wirelessly charging.Fixed it by turning the phone off and on. It was the phone not the charger

It may have something to do with the size of the camera lens on the 14 Pro? It may be large enough that it is raising the phone enough off the charging bed to interfere with charging.

Wireless charger in Vw Taos worked perfectly. Seems like Nissan decided to save some some and installed low power charging coils.

Just curious do iphones get hot when wireless charging? I know I hate using wireless charging, my Samsung feels like it's been in the oven on broil after about 10 mins.

Haven't seen this issue. it becomes warm, but not really hot.

Ok it never stops charging due to the phone overheating?

Due to manual it could stop because of 2 things - phone overheating or charger overheating. obviously you can overhead any of those within 40 seconds

That’s great to know with your tip and trick. What if you placed your phone upside down (turn it 180 degrees) without the foam cushion?

I only wish Nissan hurries up and have wireless Android Auto.

Tried it. Didn’t work.

Your phone is significantly smaller, my Samsung is larger so I can just sit it in with no problem. But I noticed the charge goes from the middle area (little further down maybe 3/4 the way) when I charged my ear buds case. I can't just sit it in there I have to use something to keep it in the middle or at least 3/4 the way down or it won't charge. Seems your phone has the same issue.

I have the same problem. Charges fine for 5 minutes then cuts off. Have tried multiple different phone with and without a case. Have an appointment with the dealership to have them look at it.

Let me know what will dealer say. My solution still works for me, though.

I had the same issue with my iPhone 13. Seems to be a positioning issue. It works when I slide it up about an inch from the bottom.
