Happy to hear your AWDs are soon on the way! Closing the loop on a question earlier in this thread about still-outstanding FWD reservations... my NL Premiere finally came in (I'm in Chicago). Picked it up on Friday. Now the fun begins!

In typical Ariya unpredictability, on Wednesday my dealer told me nothing had changed with ETA, still 3/23. Then Thursday afternoon I got a call from them saying it was arriving in the next hour. :ROFLMAO:

Anyone know if propilot 2 for us will be charged a subscription service? I remember watching a canadian nissan video where they mention a subscription fee since it uses 3d mapping for self driving.
I thought I saw that it was included for 3 years and then subscription
Another great unbiased review of the Ariya Platinum EForce.

Nissan Executive: Hey did you guys finishing calling all the Platinum Red Reservists to tell them if they still want Red they'll have to wait a billion more years?
Nissan underling: Yes Sir, all set Sir
Nissan Executive: Excellent. Send a Red one to America for all the reviewers to drive and video
Nissan Underling: But Sir, wouldn't that anger all the people we just called?
Nissan Executive: That's the plan. They weren't grateful enough for their Metaquests. They must suffer.

That would be great! The vehicle, I mean, not the rain. Take lots of pictures.
But Hank rain is what E4orce was made for
But. But. I was so looking forward to burning rubbers and doing doughnuts. Maybe I’ll drift sideways in the rain until I hit something.

Hello 0-60 in 4.8 SECONDS!!

I sat in the Ariya training from 10am to 1:00pm. This training was not specifically about the Platinum EForce as I was initially led to believe. It was a sales training tutorial by Nissan trainer educating the sales staff at Tustin Nissan everything about the Ariya in general. I sat through the education and learned a few things. Did you know that the Ariya is the only vehicle in its class that has 10 airbags? The Platinum trim has 11 airbags! Who knew?!

By the time 1pm came around, due to confidentiality I was asked to leave because the Platinum EForce was a corporate production test vehicle, and I was not allowed to test drive it. Only the staff at Tustin Nissan was allowed to test drive. As you can imagine, after sitting in the training room for 3 straight hours, I was bummed when I asked to leave by the Nissan Trainer. 😡

The good news is that the 5 Platinum Ariyas will be arriving to Tustin Nissan by the end of this month. All 5 units are already reserved for the reservation holders.

It is true that the Premiere trim will be eliminated (replaced by Empower) after the first year. I think it’s stupid Nissan is eliminating the Premiere trim.

During our training, a man walked into the showrooms and wanted to trade in his new Ford F150 Lightning for the Platinum trim Pathfinder. Yes, you heard that right!
