Same. I just replaced my old Pixel 5 with the new 10 Pro. (Review: It's ... chunky.... Otherwise pretty great. I'd like to see a focus on making phones thinner and lighter again though.)

The Galaxy S25 Edge may be for you then.

I keep my phone as long as I possibly can as well. I had my HP windows phone (best phone ever and way ahead of its time) for almost seven years!!
I replaced it with a Red Hydrogen ONE only because I needed Android to run Bimmercode. Eventually I switched to the Hydrogen phone because of the loss of 3G support on the Windows phone.

The Hydrogen Phone was also a superior product and ahead of its time. If RED would have hung in there and developed it to release the Hydrogen TWO it would have been fantastic.

Now im on a Samsung S23.

A Windows Phone user! I used a Lumia 950 XL for 5 years since launch, still working perfectly. I've also used that HP Elite you had.

Yes I love my Elite X3, so much I have two. I always loved the huge box it came in. I would use it as a PC in the garage until I could finally afford to put a small PC in there. It was quirky in PC mode but it always worked.

My wife used the Lumia and also loved it she still has it in our technology box. LOL

Here's a new thought on WAA. My $30 amazon WAA adapter works greet around town. Maps and audio from phone come up automatically when I get in the car. However, I just took a long trip, and the phone battery went dead. Didn't do that with the cable. I guess I can stuff it into the charger while driving.

That's what I do when using my adapter, is put my phone in the wireless charger.... works well. Just don't forget to take it out when getting out of the car. 😏
