I had the "Exterior Ground Lighting W/ Logo And Rear Illumination" kit installed yesterday at the Nissan dealership. Their EV master tech handled the install.
This is the result on a Northern Lights Premiere with photos taken at dusk:

I was wondering if the lighting can be turn on while waiting at the stop light, or does the car need to be in park position in order for the lights to illuminate?

It would be cool to show off at the street light intersection. (Space ship looking vehicle..)

Oh yeah that would be pretty neat! I wonder though if it is just for illumination while parked, maybe it stays on for a few seconds after locking the car.

It's only active upon approach, unlock and when in Park. It mirrors the behavior of the internal dome lights and fades out in sync.

Does it illuminate in the day time as well, or does it have a light sensor for it to determine it’s night time and the lights should illuminate versus day time when it should not illuminate?

There's no photosensor nor is it that advanced. It behaves the same day or night. Visibility depends on external light. Daylight will obviously wash it out.

I got this idea from Range Rover for my Ariya emblem. I photoshopped it. The letters are raised like the way Range Rover has it. Plenty of sellers on EBay selling badges and emblems. What do you guys think? Tacky?

Yesterday, on my way to the post office, look what I spotted. Black out Rogue emblems. I wish Nissan should have done this on the Ariya as well…. With the black rooftop, it should be consistent with black emblems for all Nissan models.

Speaking of Rogue, if Nissan had hybrids on their Rogues, they would have done extremely well vs RAV4 and CRVs.

Can't say I agree about the blacked out emblems, but each to his/her own.
Nissan used to have hybrid options for Rogue, Pathfinder, and Altima. Their hybrid drivetrain wasn't well done though and didn't compete well against Toyota and Honda.
The black out emblems and the black out wheels are part of the latest trend in automotive industry. Chrome wheels were very popular back then but not any longer.

Yeah, Nissan blew it with the hybrid. Perhaps it is better that they focus on BEVs going forward instead.

Found protectors for the two screens. The fingerprints have been driving me nuts. Surprisingly a lot of accessories on AliExpress. Will update as soon as I receive!

Hi Folks,
Check out the sunshade I bought for my Ariya. It’s customized for the Subaru Crosstrek but fits the Ariya pretty well! 😀

If no one takes you up, I'm up here in northern ca! Your center console would do well if it had the copper stitching like the steering wheel. :) On day three of getting my Ariya and looking over the car. Definitely will be looking for something to protect my rear bumper as the opening is higher than most cars and I can see banging things into it.

The lift gate height is adjustable btw! There’s a video of it on the Nissan channel ☺

Sorry, not the lift gate but the floor of the trunk area. The car sits a little higher due to its ground clearance and shape of the rear. I guess most SUV sits a little higher and very noticeable compare to our Tesla. I was lifting a heavy paper shredder into the trunk area and noticed I had wasn't high enough to clear the bumper.
