Yes I have both updates .
I figured it out.
#1 Delete phone 📱.
#2 Reboot car and phone . Do not attach usb.
#3 Enable "nissan ariya" bluetooth with all permissions.
#4 Follow add device under android auto , not refresh.
#5 bluetooth audio should be inactive.
All good now. Suprise. 😮
I didn't reboot the car or phone to get wireless Android Auto connected. But I did, like you said, have to delete the phone and re-add it. Update: later I had to reboot phone to get voice recognition to work. Stopped working on both the car AND the phone for some reason (even when phone not connected to car).

Well then you dont have the latest version LOL
Dah! That's what I've been trying to tell you.. Lol no I have the original version, no updated WAA. I don't know how they are running this update out OTA but I'm going to drive by the Nissan Center tmro and see if there's an update that they may have received via computer access or USB drive. Maybe I just need to be patient until it's my turn to get the OTA update.🤔

OK, again, have never used Android Auto before... So I deleted my phone from the Ariya, added it back and answered "yes" when it offered Wireless Android Auto. It works! So now there is an icon for AA I can press. I also confirmed it automatically connects when the car is turned on. I can see Google Maps navigation, music, and some of my apps (not sure why it picked the strange sub-set it did, will have to research that).

I did have a problem. When I pressed and held voice on the steering wheel and then say something, it always responds with "Ooops, something went wrong". I turned off the car and tried pressing the home button on the phone, then mic button, and it did the same thing. So I rebooted the phone. Then the home/mic button worked and saying "testing" resulted in "you're coming in loud and clear". Went back to car to test there. Yep, working.

I will have to play with it more. It is showing maps on left side and Pandora on the other. Not sure why it picked Pandora (which I never use). Went through settings and can't find a way to change that to Oto music player. I can launch Oto, but then it is full-screen.

There might be telematics problems today, anyway. The NissanConnect app has been broken all day.
[Thought I would post an update that the NissanConnect app is working again today. Have no idea why it was screwy every time I tried it yesterday.]

How to you get the OTA software update before me with my Ariya being 2023 model???🤨🧐 There must be a process of the rollout that we aren't aware of and it's randomly getting sent out. I'm still waiting for the update to come. Grrrrr!😖

I haven't gotten either update yet, so you're not alone.

Oooohhh.. I know what's going on. Nissan knows you don't like to modify your vehicle so i believe they will not be sending any updates for your vehicle to make sure you keep your vehicle in original condition LOL
Bbwaaahahahahahhahah!!

Sorry but I had to LOL

Har-dee-harhar..🙄... I'll admit that's a good one...😏

I'm currently at my local Nissan dealership to see if I can get a "hard push" of the new software Nissan sent out via Wi-Fi. I want that Wireless Android Auto!
Unfortunately the dealership didn't have any updates that I don't already have. They will give me a call if they receive anything. 😕

Nissan secretly wants you to keep your Ariya as vintage as possible.
or. If you build it/wait for it, (it) will come …

Im telling you, no modifications allowed to your vehicle!
You got jokes huh? 😏 Go ahead, laugh it up..I just think Nissan just want to make sure all the kinks are ironed out before they send it out to me. 😌. That's my take on this and I'm sticking to it. 😁

2024 Engage FWD small Battery. I updated my software last night. Head unit still required USB Cable to use Android Auto. Tried deleting, rebooting phone & head unit. No wireless AA.
Tonight I went to get some dinner, got in the car and the head unit message popped up. Something like You need to disconnect from WiFi to enable Android Auto. I tapped yes and BAMM! AA is working perfectly without a cable. 🥳
