First time I charged Ariya at my home with 110V outlet and it took 10 hours to charge from 75% to 91% (from 275 miles range to 317 miles)

More videos from Nissan Quick Guide:

Venture + was the only US Ariya launch model with manual seats. All other trims offered in the launch have driver and passenger electric seats.
I’m still frustrated in this one. 46k vehicle and no power seat for driver. The cloth is no big deal but the non power seat really misses the mark.

Agree. I had Venture+ initially reserved in 2021, since did not want AWD. But after seeing the features Evolve+ gets over Venture+, I had changed my reservation many months ago in 2022. Venture+ misses out on lot of features.

Sorry to hear you hadn’t noticed that the Venture + lacked the electric seat feature. Heres a thought: If your driving habits don’t really need the large 87KW battery, maybe consider talking to your dealer about trading in your Venture + for an Engage FWD model. Because it has the smaller 63 KW battery it has a lower MSRP but this model does include an electric driver seat with memory. (Engage Passenger seat however is manual) The Engage FWD also features a Heads Up Display that your Venture + doesn’t offer. If this plan might sound feasible, hopefully your dealer ordered an Engage for their launch inventory.…they may be interested in a trade that you could live with. If you were counting on claiming the tax credit, Since you already purchased your Venture +, I suspect you may still be able to count that EV Venture + purchase as your federal tax credit Vehicle as long as you signed the Nissan agreement prior to 8-16-22.

When it came to ordering 360 view was something I needed to have . My wife wanted the color Red but was not available on Evolve+ I also preferred the Bose System but not available on Evolve+ so it came down to 1)color 2)360 view 3) FWD or AWD 4) elec seats which adjust for both drivers automatic on entry.multiple decisions but Evolve + was my final pick. FWD. I am sure everyone agrees we could have been given more options but that will probaly be for future buyers who will also have more colors to choose from.

I was hoping to be able to order rubber floor mats; can’t believe they don’t even have the regular ones available yet!

I guess as a general question, I was wondering what is the best insurance company to use, or how this new EV car affected your current rates. For example I have Geico, 2020 Nisan Altima, and pay about $100/month. Since this car is double the price should I expect to pay $200/month now? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
Insurance rates will varied. I use Costco Connect Insurance for my personal vehicles, and Progressive Insurance for my business vehicles which includes Ariya.

I will look into Geico for personal and business car insurance just to see how much. Currently, both Costco Connect and Progressive Commercial, I was quoted about $95/month. You may want to consider gap insurance in case some whacky problems occur with your EV.

Yes it was not a truly custom reservation/order process. Good suggestion to consider trading if something more desirable is available.

Existing owners with Ariya floormats 1) do they lock in? My 2018 Tacoma gave me cloth and rubber, the rubber ones are so easy to clean.

You complete IRS form 8936 & file with your federal income tax return.
Thanks. I found additional info here
Vehicles Purchased Before August 17, 2022
Qualifying EVs purchased before August 17, 2022, are eligible for a tax credit that is available for the purchase of a new qualified EV that draws propulsion using a traction battery that has at least five kilowatt-hours (kWh) of capacity, uses an external source of energy to recharge the battery, has a gross vehicle weight rating of up to 14,000 pounds, and meets specified emission standards. The minimum credit amount is $2,500, and the credit may be up to $7,500 based on each vehicle’s traction battery capacity and the gross vehicle weight rating. The credit will begin to be phased out for each manufacturer in the second quarter following the calendar quarter in which a minimum of 200,000 qualified PEVs have been sold by that manufacturer for use in the United States.

This tax credit is also available for future EV owners with a written binding contract to purchase a new qualifying electric vehicle before August 16, 2022, but do not take possession of the vehicle until on or after August 16, 2022.

For more information, including qualifying vehicles and sales by manufacturer, see the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Qualified Plug-in Electric Drive Motor Vehicle Credit website.

The short is… no tax credit because it was assembled outside of North America and a written binding agreements must have been made with your dealer before August 16th. Most of us only dealt with Nissan directly but they are not allowed to sell directly to consumer in many states and aren’t the final selling party anyhow.

I hope the sales people didn’t lie to you and tell you the Ariya was eligible for the federal tax credit.

I’m in the UK and collected my car the same day as you. I have the Ariya carpet mats and also the rear boot reversible protector mat all of which are good quality. The only promo we have here is 3-years free Zap Map Premium. You have to type your VIN into a special promotion page on the Zap Map website but mine isn’t working yet. Wireless Apple CarPlay is great - so much easier to use than the wired version I had in my previous ICE car. Nissan Connect app seems good so far. It’s giving me stats on all my journeys in the car and I’ve been able to activate the climate control remotely to warm the car before getting in it. I realise US owners have different experiences so I hope you don’t mind me posting these here.
Did you manage to get your Premium Zap-Map subscription activated? I'm in the same boat in that my VIN is not recognised and so the offer isn't activated. I was hoping you could share your solution. Also located in UK.

Did anyone received from Nissan the EVGo 1-year unlimited charging code via email?
Please address any EVGo inquiries here. The forum is getting a bit convoluted and it’s hard to go back and find meaningful answers for a particular Q&As. 🙏

I put my Venture+ on a 110V outlet over 12 hours ago and the charge has barely increased! Heading to the dealer tomorrow.
